Manageable Switch cum LAN Extender - RTS0973

Manageable Switch cum LAN Extender - RTS0973

The RTS0973 is a managed network device that combines a manageable Ethernet switch with a LAN extender, designed to manage alarms and extend managed LAN connectivity across sites. It runs on a wide 12–72V DC supply, uses RJ-45 Ethernet interfaces, and supports remote configuration and monitoring. With SNMP management, dual IPv4/IPv6 stack, isolated digital inputs for alarm collection, and optional LTE connectivity, it's built to consolidate alarm handling and networking into a single secure, remotely manageable unit.

Key Features

  • Dual role: managed switch + LAN extender - combines managed switching with LAN extension over RJ-45 Ethernet on a wide 12–72V DC input.
  • 8 isolated digital inputs - potential-free, isolated inputs that can be individually enabled/disabled, with cable-cut/disconnection detection.
  • Remote management & FOTA - device and trap-destination IPs changeable via web interface; firmware upgradeable remotely and locally via FTP/web server.
  • SNMP management - SNMPv2 with RFC-1213 MIB compliance; generates configurable SNMP traps (ON/OFF) on input change.
  • Dual IPv4/IPv6 stack - stateful and stateless, with static and DHCP addressing; supports NetBIOS, mDNS, and DNS-SD for host-name resolution.
  • Secure and robust operation - secured flash write (self-check before erasing), SNTP & RTC time sync, factory-reset switch, status indicators (Ethernet, digital inputs, power), and Modbus RTU (HEX) compatibility.
