
Electro-Mechanical 3-Point Cabinet Lock (Model-Serro 2)
The Serro-2 is a microprocessor-controlled electro-mechanical 3-point locking system made by LMD Hitech (Galler), designed specifically for telecom/server cabinets and racks. It supports LAN, Bluetooth, and RS485 connectivity, allowing both local and remote monitoring/control. Access can be granted via RF smart card, remote command from a Network Operations Centre, or a mechanical 2-bit key for emergencies. A solenoid mechanism gives a strong initial "double power" pulse to open the lock, then drops to low-power mode until relocked-improving actuator life and regulator reliability. It logs every access event (user ID, date, time) and reports abnormal/unauthorized attempts to a command centre in real time.
