The RTDCEM 1173-3-4CH is a remotely monitored DC energy measurement device built for the telecom industry to measure and validate power consumed at IP-COLO sites. Beyond monitoring energy and critical parameters, it relays data over Ethernet or LTE to central servers for analysis. It's a standalone, 19-inch rack-mountable unit using a 32-bit microcontroller and industrial-grade components, with a built-in RTU that acts as an SNMPv3 agent. It measures 4 channels via Hall sensors at Class 1 (±1.0%) accuracy, operates on 18–62V DC input, and is designed to Indian (IS) and IEC standards for reliable, accurate power monitoring.

  • 4-channel DC metering with Class 1 accuracy - Hall-sensor current sensing, ±1.0% accuracy on energy/power and full-scale voltage/current, with fine resolution (0.001 kWh, 0.1V, 0.1A, 0.1kW).
  • SNMPv3 agent - RFC-1213 MIB support, event-based traps to 4 configurable server IPs, alarm resend on comms restore, and GET/GET Bulk polling.
  • Web dashboard & remote management - browser-accessible overview of connected equipment, digital/relay/network config, event logs (10K+, exportable to CSV/Excel), soft-reboot, and remote firmware upgrade.
  • Inbuilt RTU + remote connectivity - relays data to servers via Ethernet (5× 10/100 Mbps ports) or optional GPRS/3G/LTE module, storing 60+ days of data / 10K+ events.
  • Rich I/O and protocols - 2× isolated RS-485 (Modbus), 2× isolated relay outputs, 4× opto-isolated protected digital inputs, plus NTP, IPv4/IPv6 dual stack, static/DHCP.
  • Rugged, protected design - hardware + software watchdog, reverse-polarity protection, >20MΩ insulation, 2KV dielectric test, -20 to +60°C operating range, and <50 dB operation.
