Solar Light Tracking System
The Galler Solar Light Tracking System is a motorized stand for solar panels. Instead of staying fixed in one position, it automatically moves the panels to follow the sun from morning to evening. This is called "sun tracking," and it helps the panels absorb more sunlight, which means more energy is produced compared to panels that don't move. This version is a proof of concept (POC), meaning it's a working sample built to test and show that the idea works well.
Key Features
- High-Torque Motor: Uses a powerful 24VDC, 150W motor to turn the panels smoothly.
- Fast Tracking Speed: Rotates up to 300° per minute, fast enough to keep pace with the sun's movement.
- Full-Day Tracking: Designed to track the sun continuously from morning to evening for maximum energy capture
- Wide Rotation Range: Can rotate panels across 135° of movement, covering a large arc of sky.
- Low Voltage Operation: Runs on 24 VDC, making it easy to power and integrate.
- Flexible Compatibility: Works with external controllers and different types of solar panels, making it adaptable to various setups.
